They were just hanging out in my aunt's yard when we got there. Hoss is who we saw first and then this cute little brown one, that you'd swear was a deer. I think his name was Little Joe. Take a look!
After we saw the babies, we decided to go inside and eat. And then we waited for the fun part.............feeding them with big baby bottles. This was so much fun. So here are some of the other picks of the cows and the turkeys. I borrowed my mom's camera (and she is posted in the pics as well). My mom has been sick with an undiagnosed illness since last July, and thankfully she is able to drive again. But because she is taken medication, she isn't supposed to be out in the sun (see the hat). I do believe she enjoyed feeding the baby cows as much as me. Wyatt was just happy to get his WWE wrestling ring that mom-mom bought him. But he did tell me he had fun feeding them on the way home.
The above little boy is named Ponderosa. How cute!
Whoa! You can't see my face or anything, but as you can tell, everyone wanted more milk!
This is Hoss, sucking on our fingers. I think he misses his "Momma"......
The jersey cows, which are brown have baby teeth, so they tend to be a bit more rambunctious when having their milk. The other jersey cows names were Ben and Cartwright. I never realized until Friday night, after eating ribs, that when I mentioned a few of the names, that my brother-in-law, Ronnie, said that they were the names from the show Bonanza. Wow! I never knew it, because I never watched it before.
This is my Great Aunt Helen with Wyatt and Ponderosa.
GOBBLE! GOBBLE! GOBBLE. This I suppose really was the theme for today, because the cows got their milk and they GOBBLED it right up! I hope you enjoyed the visit. I know we are looking forward to the next trip back again soon.
